We enjoyed our visit here today. I liked the rectangular layout of this store that is clean and staffed with friendly workers. I love that they have a table with 4 chairs, and also a couch in front – good for when you want to sit and check out books you're considering buying. Hubby & I also bought unique & interesting books we've not found in any other HPBs. Store is on a corner location so it's easy to get to and parking is no problem at all. It's also near several shops & restaurants, which is a plus.
We love spending time at half-price books. So many books to choose from. Most are gently used, but they do have some new books as well. My girls know they can buy more books here than at other places and they enjoy that! I was looking for a particular text book, they were able to find it at another half-price location and had it shipped to their location for no charge. It took about a week for it to arrive. They were wonderfully prompt at letting me know it was in. When I couldn't get to them for 3 days, they were happy to hold it for me.
We enjoyed our visit. Way better than the ones on 1960. Definitely be back.☺
This is a great Half Price Books location. The staff are great, and the store is easier to get to than other Half Priced Book locations in Houston. All in all, this is a great place to visit when you need something for your reading needs. I would suggest it to anyone in need of something to read.
