Very nice, helpful and friendly. I am guessing the negative reviews might have a bias.
I'm very upset with some officers who responded to a concern my daughter had tonight. She works at the Holiday inn express on N. Main St. in Pearland. She was very nervous when some men came in to the hotel. They were irritated about the rates and then they told her to come with them to a party. She told them no thanks. They proceeded to tell her that they didn't have to ask for her permission to take her with them. She was upset and scared since she was there late and by herself. Her boss told her to call the police if anything like that happens, so she did. Three officers showed up and one told her that she shouldn't be worried because the guys were leaving and they were really nice. The officer said that even if the guys did tell her that, it was ok because they were really nice. The officer said they were probably just flirting. I ask you, is that an appropriate response from officers to a scared young lady? Do you think if she wasn't really nervous, she would have called the police?? Very disappointed!
Not professional. Very hostile. A lot of nonsense. Please train your officers to do their job correctly and educate them on the rights people have and help them communicate that to citizens properly. At no time did I feel comfortable or like I was being treated with respect.
My elderly mother's house was broken into and robbed while she was on vacation. The police worked with us by allowing friends to check out the damage, and were extremely kind to my mother. Despite the horrible issue, they made it better.
Horrible manners!!! Need better training, very aggressive.
